M.U.C.K. LAB

m.u.c.k. lab (the maryland union of the crytozoologically knowledgeable) is a fictional team of cryptozoologist sent to belfast, maine in search of the local "mucK monster". this elaborate rouse was conspired by a team of graphic designers with the intention of bringing the community closer together.

our goal was to use playful local folklore as a way of creating conversation. throughout this weeklong design blitz, we curated fictional artifacts, pictures, and videos documenting local sea serpent sittings. our findings were presented in a one day exhibition.
